La Creperie joining us for Opening Day!

La Creperie, from Providence's East Side will be joining us on June 4! Leslie Carnevale, owner, is coming as a guest on  opening day to make made-to-order crepes. She uses local rye flour, fresh spinach and cheddar for her savory crepes. She will be making a sweet crepe as well! For more information about La Creperie, check out their Facebook page!

Today is RI Agriculture Day!

GOVERNOR CHAFEE, URI PRESIDENT DOOLEY, USDA UNDER SECRETARY AVALOS, AND FARMERS TO CELEBRATE RHODE ISLAND AGRICULTURE DAY IN STATE HOUSE FESTIVITIES ON THURSDAY,  MAY 12
Attendees Invited to Enjoy Samples of Rhode Island-Grown Food Products
To recognize the importance of the state's $100+ million agriculture industry, the Department of Environmental Management will host Rhode Island Agriculture Day at the State House on Thursday, May 12.

This year’s RI Agriculture Day program will feature a roll-out of RI Agricultural Partnership Five -Year Strategic Plan, and also serve as a platform to discuss new initiatives around state institutional purchasing of locally grown products, fisheries marketing and promotion.  In addition, the event will highlight many ongoing initiatives to maintain the viability of farming in Rhode Island, including locally-produced milk and beef, farmers' markets, and buy local and agri-tourism programs.

Opening Day is June 4th!

Opening Day is coming Soon- Join us Sat. June 4th, 9 AM-Noon!
Special Opening Day Activities include:

  • La Creperie’s chef will prepare delicious made to order savory and dessert crepes.
  • The Barrington Public Library will hold their annual book sale at the market that morning.
  • Tot’s Preschool will also hold their annual Yard Sale!
